Placement

PACE Institute staff assist students in identifying career opportunities. As a result of the placement focus, individual student initiative, and the successful completion of classroom training, employment is often secured before training ends.

Many graduates return long after graduation to utilize PACE Institute´s facility to keep their resumes up-to-date and contact potential new employers.

Our Externship Program

The externship program is an integral part of the PACE Institute´s programs. The externship program at PACE Institute is the key link between the employers of the community and the practical, hands-on real-life training emphasized at PACE Institute in the diploma and specialized associate degree programs.

The externship is a win-win situation for the student and the employers.

Student Externship Benefits

  • Gives real-world work experience before graduation
  • Is an extension of the classroom training
  • Builds self-confidence
  • Improves chances of obtaining and being successful in a training-related career
  • Offers hands-on experience not learned in the classroom setting
  • Added bonus for a resume
  • In many cases gives a foot in the door for those non-advertised job openings
